Why did the Dow close below 11,000 on Friday?
The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed down 0.2% on Friday for the fourth straight day, the most since the market crashed on Feb. 10.
The index lost 4.2 points, or 0.4%, to 15,924.30.
The S&P 500 was up 1.1%.
The Dow is currently down about 9,500 points in the past three weeks.
The S&p 500 is down about 5,000 points over the past year.
On Friday, the Dow gained 1,400 points.
The Nasdaq is down 4.5%.
